RAYKA TECHNOLOGY
Repair and IT service policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
Authorization and charges
We record the equipment, visible condition, symptoms, included accessories and requested work at intake. Any diagnostic charge, fee if no repair is possible, minimum service charge and estimated timescale must be disclosed and accepted before work begins. Diagnosis is not a promise that every fault can be repaired.
We provide a repair scope/estimate and obtain authorization before chargeable repairs, replacement parts or materially expanded work. If the scope changes, we explain the additional cost and obtain approval. Unapproved add-ons are not billed as if they were agreed. Remote, networking, server and ongoing managed services use an accepted scope or separate service agreement for access, service levels, recurring charges and cancellation.
Data and access
Back up important files before service. Tell us if backup is impossible and identify sensitive data or restrictions. Data recovery, migration and erasure require specific authorization. We use reasonable care, but neither repairs nor a backup attempt guarantees recovery of already damaged data. Rayka does not use a blanket waiver to avoid responsibility for its own failure to exercise legally required care.
Only provide access necessary for the agreed work, preferably a temporary account. We agree a secure credential method; do not send account passwords in public forms. Disconnect unnecessary external storage. Explain any encryption or management locks that may prevent the agreed work.
Completion, coverage and collection
The invoice explains the work and parts supplied. Any additional workmanship or parts warranty is stated on the estimate/invoice and does not restrict statutory service-quality or product rights. Tell us promptly if the same repaired fault recurs so we can assess it. New unrelated faults or new upgrade requests may require a separate quote.
We notify you when equipment is ready or when an assessment cannot proceed. Collection arrangements are agreed with you. Any storage charge requires clear advance disclosure, an agreed reasonable period and notice; we do not impose a surprise daily fee. Uncollected equipment is handled through lawful notice and processes, not automatic disposal or ownership transfer.
